Teeny Tiny Tuesday: Natalie's French Treats

This set is another from Natalie's French Treats and is perhaps my favourite from that series. I was lucky enough to find it in a blindbox otherwise I'm not sure it would have turned up on my radar. I'm telling you now, I would have totally missed out! 

I love the variety of desserts that are included in this set and I have a soft spot for the crème brûlée in its tiny ramekin. The inclusion of the mini chocolate Eiffel tower is brilliant and makes the set complete in my opinion. It's only just now that I have realised that I seem to be most drawn to the tiniest pieces of the sets I have. I'm sure many other Re-Ment collectors feel the same!

The tableware is especially good in this set also. I think there may have been a knife with this set but if so I must have misplaced it unfortunately. Anyway, what I really wanted to show you in this picture is the plates. How cute are they?! The graphics are simple and stylish, the colours are lovely and there is just the right amount of decoration for that luxurious Parisian café feel. I have never actually been to Paris, I should mention but it plays up to everything I imagine it to be! Well, the café's at least :)

Teeny Tiny Tuesday!

It's Teeny Tiny Tuesday and it's sunny as well, so today couldn't get much better for me!

I have a pretty big sweet tooth and this seems to extend to miniatures whether they are edible or not. I have quite a lot of tiny cakes! These cakes in particular are from the brilliant Natalie's French Treats and come with a pair of cute sugar tins. The lids do not fit well at all but they are decorated with images of carousel horses. Every cloud has a silver lining, as they say! The carousel was always my favourite fairground ride when I was a little girl and still is now that I'm an official grown-up, if truth be told. A carousel horse is also printed on the reverse side of the bag for even more funfair cuteness. 

I love the fact that the cakes in this set work as a whole but are different selections. Who wants a whole box of the exact same cupcake? Nobody who is serious about cake, I'll tell you that for a fact.

Teeny Tiny Tuesday

It's super grotty weather here today but I didn't want to miss out on posting. As pathetic as it sounds I really look forward to Teeny Tiny Tuesday! I love picking something cute and tiny to focus in on. I've also found Re-Ment quite difficult to photograph at times and hopefully I'm getting better at it even on horrible rainy days!

Today I chose my macaroon cookies and cake stand along with a Re-Ment plate from another set that I have. I've been really rubbish at keeping all my Re-Ment pieces in their sets. However! - I do know that the macaroon cookie set comes with a sweet lemonade jug and candy coloured cups but I made the executive decision not to include them in the pic and focus on the cute macaroons instead.
