Teeny Tiny Tuesday

I originally bought this set from the Storage Beauty series for the floral wellingtons but it was these pieces that ended up being my fave. The frog prince watering can is extremely cute and great for those slightly surreal shoots that doll collectors seem to be so great at.

The wine crates have a really nice texture which makes them that little bit more realistic. One of the reasons I love this set so much is that it adds decoration to pictures that otherwise may seem a bit bland. I am thinking about painting the flower pots to add a bit more detail but I don't want to go overboard. Maybe just a few white polka dots around the rim. Polka dots are the perfect no-fuss decoration I reckon, but we'll see!

  1. this is one of my favorite sets too and i originally got it for the same reason (the cute boots) but ended up loving all of it :) i should take a pic of the wonder frogs with the watering can! :D

  2. I've recently started browsing your blog, and I must say it's wonderful! (And has maybe got me a little too infatuated with the idea of having my very own blythe/minatures.. xD)
May I ask where you get your re-ment/minature items from? I'm loving the watering can :)

  3. I would love to see a picture of your mini frogs with this set. It would be unbelievably cute!

Thanks Bronte, that's really kind of you to say/write! I got most of my miniatures from ebay, just search for Re-Ment. Sioux, above, has a great blog where she takes pictures of her miniatures called Milk Tea Party. The link is in my sidebar. There is a great group on flickr called Re-Ment addicts and you will see some brilliant pictures there, also.

A couple of my Re-Ment pieces came from the Blythe Kingdom forum but you won't be able to see the Sundries section unless you are a member. If you are interested in Blythe as well as miniatures you might want to check it out. It is very friendly!

  4. Thanks for your reply, I'll have to get researching :)
